Five Creatures is so sweet and one of my all time favorite books for story-time.  Also, a great way to start a discussion about family relationships.

Today's Book of the Day is Big Mean Mike by Michelle Knudsen with illustrations by Scott Magoon.  

I love Knudsen's Library Lion and Big Mean Mike is funny with a great message that is not heavy handed.

Today's book of the day is the Farmer and the Clown by Marla Frazee.

 Such a sweet story, by the writer illustrator of the award winning and my favorite, A Couple of Boys Have the Best Week Ever. Read them both today!

Today's Book of the Day is Draw written and illustrated by Raul Colon.  

Draw is a great, fun read, especially for those with a creative streak or a vivid imagination.  Mr. Colon is a gifted illustrator.  Luckily, he was a neighbor to my NY library and would visit and share his creations with us!
