Today's Book of the Day is Mr. Putter and Tabby Turn the Page by Cynthia Rylant.  A love of books and the library, sweet animals and Mr. Putter, what more can you ask for in a beginning reader?  Oh, it was also named an honor book for this year's Geisel Award!
